Sorry for the confusion at the end of today's post, and there is more of it waiting in the wings. I decided the first part needs more action and tension, so I'm going to add some gun play. Even though I haven't done any rewrites yet, I'm writing the rest of his section with the understanding that Mike sustained a bad flesh wound in the first scene. And now, back to our story.
